Finding beauty​

 

I started playing the piano as a child. I studied the classical repertoire until I fell in love with jazz a little later on in life. I still play professionally (and sing) but was finding that something was missing for me creatively.

 

I've always loved taking pictures and have always been a student of photography, studying light and shadows ever since I first held a camera while in college some thirty years ago. Over the past couple of years I've really worked hard on understanding the intricacies of photography and am always trying to capture the perfect portrait. I love what I do and love seeing people's reactions when they see the beauty that is within them and that I am able to pull out and freeze into a beautiful keepsake.
